We have been manufacturing quality beekeeping equipment in Lincolnshire for over 100 years. A family firm, in its fourth generation with occasional help from our fifth generation! We are one of the largest, oldest and most respected such company in the world.
Our main manufacturing base, head office and retail outlet, near Lincoln, covers 12 hectares (32 acres), with much of the site landscaped with native trees, lakes, ponds and wild flowers. We are a multi-disciplined company producing traditional wooden beehives, beeswax foundation, honey extractors, smokers, protective clothing, nuclei of bees, candle moulds and much, much more. Our shop covers 5000 sq. ft and we also have an adjoining sixty seat restaurant for the exclusive use of our customers and almost one hundred staff.
Besides our head office we have four more retail outlets around the country in Devon, Hampshire, Berkshire and Fife. Our Scottish branch also has a manufacturing facility.
We export every day to somewhere in the world and at the last count have shipped to over 100 different countries. We regularly attend Apimondia, the biennial international beekeeping congress and frequently welcome overseas customers to our head office and branches, especially Windsor as it is only a few miles from Heathrow Airport.
We have Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and French speakers and approximate costs can also be viewed in Euros, Japanese Yen, US and Australian Dollars.
