Bees

All our bees are bred in the UK and are from experianced and professional beekeepers.  We work closely with our breeders to ensure all FERA guidelines are complied with.  All stocks are checked regularly for varroa and signs of other diease.

Our nucs come on six top qualityframes and premier foundation in a wooden ventilated travelling box.  There are three to four frames of brood at various stages showing a regular brood pattern.  The queen is marked and not clipped.  The remainder of the frames are made up of a balance of pollen and sealed stores.  Approximately half the frames will be covered with adult bees of different ages.

All queens are UK bred.  The queens are posted out using Royal Mail special delivery.  They come in a ventilated travelling cage with several worker attendants and fondant.  We do not import any bees or queens.
