Asian Hornet Workshop in France
13 Bees Beekeeping Experiences
£30.00
An afternoon workshop to learn how the Asian (or Asiatic) Hornet impacts on our bees here in France and what beekeepers can (and in many cases, have to) do to help their colonies survive. Each session includes: - An overview of the hornet and its behaviour in the real world (which doesn't always match the books!) - All equipment provided to get up to the hives and observe the hornets - Practical sessions on the most common things we can do to protect our bees - Plenty of time for questions - Refreshments Our workshops are hosted on the bank of the river Vienne, on the outskirts of the pretty medieval village of Confolens. We offer comfortable and highly-rated B&B accommodation so why not make a workshop part of a longer break and explore all that this green and unspoiled part of France has to offer. We also have workshops running on 07 and 19 August so get in touch and we can build a package to suit you. More information about our workshops and accommodation can be found on our website: www.13bees.co.uk
