Organic Beeswax Foundation

From East African origin, produced and refined solely by physical means.

The beekeepers are trained in light touch beekeeping and harvesting.  They are paid a premium price for their pure beeswax.

Colonies are free to roam and forage.  No queen containment (including clipping) is used and colonies are re-populated and re-queened naturally. 

Colonies are not moved for pollination purposes.  At least 30% of honeycomb is left to support the bees.

Antibiotics and pesticides are not used.

Available in British Standard size only (National/WBC hives) for standard brood and supers.  Wired, unwired and thin super.  If the size you require is not available please email us at sales@thorne.co.uk.
