Westley Hive

Designed and developed in the mid 20th Century by Capt. Tredwell of Hampshire.  The Westley Hive is a long hive that uses 33 DN4 frames.

Made from sustainable British cedar the hive has three, closeable, entrances to help with swarm management.

The roof is opened on gas struts and has toggle fasteners on either end to keep secure when closed.

The Westley hive is fully assembled and has the option of empty, assembled frames and foundation or flat frames and foundation.  The hive also includes two solid dummy/split boards and a vertical metal rhombus board.

An optional stand made out of British cedar is also available.
