Beekeeping for Beginners

An integrated theory and practical course. Theory sessions will be held at The Dower House, Woodhall Spa and all printed course material will be provided. The practical sessions will be held in our Apiary and you will have ample time to ask questions and get hands on experience. You may have as many sessions in the Apiary as you feel you need during the season and we run a “Whatsapp” group for those who have just got their bees and need further advice. Course Dates: • Theory - Tuesday 22/3, 29/3, 5/4, 12/4 from 7 – 9pm • Practical - Saturday 16/4 & 23/4 from 2 - 5pm For the practical sessions you will require a beesuit (which we may be able to provide), marigold / beekeeping gloves (not leather) and strong boots / wellingtons.
